Camping season is around the corner and it’s never too early to start planning your first trip of the year. It’s also good to get an idea of what you need in order to ensure a fun, safe, and comfortable trip. So let’s get packin’ with this RV camping checklist!
10 Things to Put on Your Camping Checklist
1. First Aid Kit
Keeping a first aid kit around is always a good idea, even if you’re in an RV or just doing a quick trip. You never know who will need a band-aid.
While you should always have a flashlight on your camping checklist, don’t forget about subtle outdoor lighting too. Christmas lights or outdoor lanterns can really make a difference.
3. Dress for the Weather
Even if it’s warm during the day, some places can get pretty cold at night. And some places are just hot all the time! Get to know the weather you’re staying in and pack according.
Nothing brings the family together like a camping game. Perfect for a rainy day or outdoor activity.
We all enjoy the freedom of unplugging, but you don’t want to be completely out of touch in case of an emergency. Don’t forget to pack your chargers just in case.
One of the best things about getting out in nature is all the wildlife you’ll see. Get a closer look with a small pair of binoculars.
7. Lawn Chairs
You’ll want something to lounge in while you sit outdoors so make sure to add a decent pair of camping chairs to your RV camping checklist.
8. Grab Your Suits
Don’t forget to grab your bathing suit, you don’t want to miss out on a nice swim at the resort pool.
Never a bad idea to have and use, especially during the camping season!
10. Fishing Poles
Camping is the perfect chance to catch some fish. Bring your fishing poles on your next RV trip.
