Wanna get away from it all? Bluewater RV Park is not your average RV resort. Far from it! We are remote enough for a truly peaceful way to live your best RV life, but close enough to lots of great attractions. Thanks to our great location just 20 miles down the spit from Galveston near Christmas Bay, you don’t have to waste a lot of gas to get to all that the Galveston area has to offer.
Bluewater is a special place. Situated on a mile-long sand spit, we are across the street from a beautiful beach in a natural area with scenic marshland and brackish water. Our property is unique in that nearly all of our RV sites are situated along either wetlands or a canal, with some sites having direct pier access. This means lots of great water recreational opportunities for you all year round!
Resort Amenities
A lot of time and thought has gone into creating a tropical oasis for an amazing guest experience at our gated resort property. Modern fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
We offer more than 10 miles of unrestricted beach access. Wind down your days of relaxation by joining us in our full-service restaurant and bar, offering magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico. For large groups, we have a 3rd floor banquet room with balconies offering panoramic water views for private events.
There is a playground for the kiddos, pickleball and basketball, a sparkling pool house with a rec room, laundry room, and showers. Explore our half-mile Discovery Trail along the canal for superb waterfront hiking. During the cooler months, the resort hosts many on-site activities to keep our guests entertained throughout.
And…our RV sites are pet friendly!
Don’t have an RV? Then go glamping in one of our crazy comfortable modern cabins. These have breathtaking views and beach access, each with a front porch, perfect for enjoying your morning beverage as the sea air fills your lungs.
Our RV Site Amenities
Bluewater Resort is a paradise for snowbirds and those seeking solace and adventure. Each and every one of our RV spots offer wonderful views, with many canal-access sites having semi-private docks. We even take the big rigs! All sites come equipped with 30 and 50-amp hook-ups, water and sewer, a picnic table, free cable, and high-speed Wi-Fi so you can get your business done remotely with ease. Our all-inclusive rates mean all of these amenities are included.

Tons of Water Activities
Fishing – anglers will appreciate our private boat ramp, docks, and fishing piers, complete with a fish cleaning station. Crabbing is another fun option. SUP and Kayaking – didn’t bring your own gear? No problem. We have daily/weekly SUP and kayaks rentals, and there is a boat ramp on site. While we don’t offer boat rentals, we do have a few outstanding local fishing guides to help you with your next big catch.
Note: There is no swimming in our waters. Because we are in a semi-marine environment, wild and untamed marine life are abundant here, and yes that can include those of the potentially dangerous variety! Instead, take advantage of our sparkling swimming pool with pavilions and picnic tables.
